Costacurta S.p.A. - VICO is an Italian company specializing in the design and production of metal components for industry and architecture, at the service of the international markets. The company exports more than 70% of its production and intends to increase this percentage significantly. The business lines are:- Cloth for architecture

Aims of the project
Target of Costacurta, already present in the country, is to increase the commercialization of its products (specifically metal conveyor belts to be used within the production processes) in the local market, given its excellent potential. Costacurta has required Octagona a support in the identification of one or more agents/distributors in the UK, which will act as a local landmark.Project's activities
After the analysis and evaluation of the best strategy for market access, Octagona has built the entire project, which has been structured in the following phases:- search and selection of counterparties (agents and distributors)
- identification of the right person in the company, in order to present the project bypassing the filters on the answering machine
- start of telephone contacts with all the identified counterparts
- market understanding and assessment of the effective interest of the counterparties
- management of the start of relationships with the counterparts
- production of reports and confrontation with Costacurta to evaluate and select the best potential partners to meet
- planning and organizing meetings agenda
