Almac Srl strengthens its business in Australia: set up a subsidiary in Sydney thanks to Octagona

The company located in Mantova, already present in Australian market, asked the support of Octagona to have a foothold on territory and following its activities closer

A country that does not know crisis, considered from lot of companies as a dream market. This is the case of Australia, whose economy grows continuously since 27 years, at an average rate, from 1991 to present, around 3.2%. The economic relations between Italy and Australia are very positive: in 2017 the bilateral trade between the two countries has almost reached 4.5 billion Euro, with a balance much more favourable for our export (3.9 billion); however, although Italy is now the 11th supplier of Australia, many of our companies still consider it a market too distant, almost unreachable.

It is certainly not among these Almac Srl, a young and ambitious Italian company established in 2013, specialized in the design and manufacturing of compact tracked elevators. The Lombard company, already present in Australia through a local distribution network, is today an important point of reference of the segment and is experiencing an expansion phase: the production plant of 4500 square meters, the turnover of over 10 million Euro, the presence of 32 employees and the strong vocation and the opening toward international markets represent the main features of the company.

Almac, in order to consolidate its own position, decided to start an incorporation process: the new subsidiary opened in Sydney, Almac Pacific Pty. Ltd., will have the aim to follow closely the relations with own customers, by providing a direct and constant support. This new unit will allow also to extend the company operational range in the Asian continent.

For the complete realization of the operation, Almac relied on Octagona Srl, Italian excellence in the Internationalization sector, with 16 years of experience in this field. The operation has been completed in a short time: within a month, Octagona managed and coordinated the whole process, drafting the necessary contracts, executing all the registrations, performing administrative tasks, opening the company’s bank account and giving the necessary operational support. Moreover, to ensure that Almac is fully operational in the market, Octagona will continue to support the company also in its post-constitution phases, through an operative and administrative support.
