The event, which will take place in Milan, will provide a complete overview of the Indian market and Octagona will speak about winning opportunities and strategies
The Indian market is characterized by a great potential for the “Made in Italy”. Thanks to the 6.7% growth registered in 2017, the Indian market is nowadays among the ones with the greatest growth rate at a global level. Indeed, economists, entrepreneurs, and sector analysts agree with the affirmation that the Indian economy is destined to expand substantially (in the coming years the GDP is expected to grow at a pace of +7.8%, +7.9% and 8.1% for the years 2019, 2020 and 2021 respectively), supported by the excellent levels of demographic data, medium class growth and domestic consumes.
At present, the India – Italy trade has a value of 7.5 billion Euros but, considering the strong appeal of the “Made in Italy” brand among Indian consumers, it is believed that this value is inevitably destined to increase.
With the goal of doing a detailed stock of the situation about India and highlighting the available opportunities for companies, ISPI and Intesa Sanpaolo, with the collaboration of the Ministry for the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Assolombarda and SACE, organize the convention called “Exploring India”, which will take place in Milan the 16th of February at ISPI’s headquarter (Clerici Palace, via Clerici 5). The meeting, which will begin at 9 o’clock, foresees the participation of Lorenzo Angeloni, Italian Ambassador in India, and Reenat Sandhu, Indian Ambassador in Italy, some speeches and testimonies of ISPI’s analysts and experts of the Indian market and representatives of Italian companies’ that operate in the Subcontinent.
Among the various experts there is also Mr. Alessandro Fichera, Managing Partner at Octagona, an organisation that has been operating in India for 16 years and runs three offices in New Delhi, Bangalore and Pune.
