Octagona talks about internationalization at GES Master by Ca’ Foscari

The lectures will be focused on Strategic Management and Start-up

GES70Also this year Octagona confirms its partnership with Ca ‘Foscari Challenge School. Octagona, which can count on an experience of almost fifteen years in the context of business internationalization, has renewed its commitment with the prestigious School of Venice, dedicated to the provision and management of University Masters courses. In this regard, Alessandro Fichera, Senior Partner of Octagona, will hold lectures included into two Modules “Strategic Management” and “Start-up”, within the Master GES, dedicated to the countries of the Persian Gulf.

The aim of the Master, training new professionals able to work in companies that are already working or wishing to set up international projects in the above mentioned area. The Gulf countries have always shown a strong interest in made in Italy: for example, the United Arab Emirates are the main market for Italian exports in the whole MENA Region and Italy ranks seventh among supplying countries of the UAE and the third among European partners.

Specifically, the first module of the Master will face a number of strategic issues for students who wish to enter into contact with this area and who would like to understand the ways of business; the second will provide guidelines about the correct procedures to be implemented for the realization of a start-up, giving the participants a chance to confront each other and work together, to create successful projects. Both modules will be held in Venice at Ca’ Foscari university (Palazzo Moro – Cannaregio 2978) on the following dates:

  • April 29th (Strategic Management);
  • June 3rd (Start-Up);
  • June 4th (Start-Up);
  • June 17th (Start-Up);
  • June 18th (Start-Up);
  • July 8th (Strategic management);
  • July 9th (Start-Up).
