The Indian market, in the current complex and fragmented context, represents the most interesting market in the Asian landscape: it is a huge country, with a population of over a billion people, which is growing at a steady pace, thanks to many favourable reforms for the foreign investors. The Indian market is not always known and analyzed by Italian entrepreneurs and many actions have yet to be taken to enhance the relations bewteen made in Italy and the Subcontinent.
Due to this reason, the Ca’ Foscari Challenge School, an institution within Venice Ca’ Foscari University, has planned a study visit in India, in partnership with Octagona, with the purpose of supporting entrepreneurs looking for new and durable business opportunities in this country. Octagona, with its 15-years-long experience in internationalization, is present in India through direct offices in New Delhi and Mumbai, and can support the companies in an internationalization process.
The project, addressed to entrepreneurs, export managers and managers active in different fields and interested in doing business in India, is designed as to combine a traditional business mission with a structured study visit: therefore meetings with institutions and potential partners will be scheduled within a programme conceived by those who perfectly know India from an economic and socio-cultural perspective and can assist in the best possible way companies looking for business opportunities.
The project will last eight days and will take place in the following dates:
- training meeting at Ca’ Foscari University: end of October 2015;
- study visit in India: from 15th to 22nd November 2015.
The trip’s destinations in India are:
- Delhi (3 days)
- Jaipur (2 days)
- Mumbai (2 days)
Each participant can request specific B2B meetings with Indian companies in each of the 3 destinations (Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai): according to specific requests, meetings with potetial partners, buyers, distributor or local institutions will be scheduled.
